OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME TO WIN 45
The objective is to accumulate as many tricks as possible and surpass a score of 120 points. Achieving a score exceeding 120 points leads to victory.

Rank in trump suit:
<ul>
<li>Spades and clubs: 5 (highest), J, A, K, Q, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.</li>
<li>Hearts and Diamonds: 5 (highest), J, A, K, Q, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 4, 3, 2.</li>
</ul>

Rank of cards in plain suits (no trump):
<ul>
<li>Spades and clubs: K (highest), Q, J, A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.</li>
<li>Diamonds: K (highest), Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, A.</li>
<li>Hearts: K (highest), Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.</li>
</ul>

BIDDING
The game commences with the Bidding stage where bids of values such as 15 or upwards are made. The dealer holds bids when in that role; otherwise players make the bids.

CALLS TRUMP
If a player has won the bid they can call trump. This strategic move allows the player to designate the strongest cards as trump. It is mandatory for at least one player to call trump during bidding.

Discard Stage
The player who called Trump will receive a kitty consisting of four extra cards. This provides an opportunity for strategic card discards. Players who did not call Trump can only discard from their original hand.

THE PLAY
During gameplay each player must follow the lead suit if possible when trump has been played. If unable to follow suit then any card may be played. When not playing a trump card players have freedom to choose any card from their hand.

ACES OF HEARTS
The Ace of Hearts has a unique ability to ignore trump rules (with the exception of when Hearts are declared as trump). Using this card strategically can significantly increase the chances of winning tricks.
